Lil' Fish

Lil’ Fish is a working cat from the waters of Alaska. Her mission, to keep the rodents (and birds) away from the fish, the nets, the boat, the Skipper!

I painted it in Procreate on my iPad. It's based on a slice in the life of Alaskan fisherwoman Kristinopolis. https://www.instagram.com/kristinopolis/ She watched it come together from the first sketches, to the final mind-bending net shading, and now it graces the wall of a small boat hunting fish on the Pacific Ocean.
